Code of conduct during games

Do not monopolize the courts during the warm-up period.

Before each game, greet the players and introduce yourself to new ones.

Ensure that everyone is ready before starting the game.

Call out the score loudly.

Do not cross a court when the ball is in play.

Announce an errant ball loudly, especially if it is heading toward another court.

Stop play immediately when a player from another court calls “ball.”
-
Let the players make the calls, not the spectators.
-
“Out” calls are made by the players on the side where the ball bounces.
-
If you and your partner cannot determine whether the ball was “in” or “out,” give the benefit of the doubt to your opponents.

Avoid taking advantage of others’ limitations.
-
Never criticize your opponents or your partner’s play.
-
At the end of the game, all players meet at the net to congratulate and thank each other.
