Let's celebrate the holidays 2022

Thank you to the nearly 50 members who were present on December 19 at  Antonine Maillet School. Here are some photos (see here)

10 outdoor courts in Dieppe

During the final vote on the 2023 budget on November 28, Dieppe City Council members made official the project to build 10 outdoor courts dedicated solely to pickleball. This is great news for all pickleball fans in the city and region.

Tenders will be issued as early as January 2023 to identify a company to build the sports facility. Work should start as early as spring 2023, and if all goes well, we could be hitting the first balls before the end of summer 2023!

The fields will be located on the west side of the Arthur-J.-LeBlanc arena, almost opposite the École Amirault. The project includes, among other things, lights, windbreaks, fencing, parking lots, etc.

The Dieppe Pickleball Club and the City's project managers will be meeting on two issues. The first will be to discuss how the courts will operate and the Club's involvement. The second will be consultation on the design and layout to ensure that the complex meets the needs of pickleball players.

We'll keep you posted as developments unfold.

Thank you to Mayor Lapierre, the Council members and employees who believe in this unifying project.
